 When one thinks of Aruba, some things that come to mind are beautiful beaches, flamingos, paradise, and water adventures, but this unique island offers even more hidden gems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Located just north of Venezuela, Aruba not only has gorgeous beaches, crystal clear waters, stunning natural rock formations, refreshing natural pools but also offers a desert landscape. That\u2019s right; you can hike among the cacti and even visit an ostrich and donkey sanctuary while on the island. There is a lot to do on this small island that I have composed below a Top 20 Things To Do while adventuring in Aruba! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Flamingo Beach <\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    \"\"<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Ever wonder where those fantastic photos come from where people are feeding flamingos? That’s right! When you visit Flamingo Beach<\/a> on Renaissance Island, you’re able to hang out with real-life flamingos and have the chance to feed them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Aruba Ostrich Farm <\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      \"\"<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Ever wanted to get up close and personal with an Ostrich? If so, this is the place for you! When visiting the Ostrich Farm<\/a>, you will become educated in all things Ostrich and have the chance to hand-feed them! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Donkey Sanctuary<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
        \"\"<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

        Visit the Donkey Sanctuary<\/a> that is a donation-based haven for rescued injured and abused donkeys. This caring facility has saved many found alongside the roadways and has created a loving environment where they\u2019re fed, cared for, and sheltered. Make sure to have some carrots handy and learn about these magnificent animals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Swim in the Natural Pool<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Grab your swim gear and head to a remote Natural Pool<\/a>, \u201cConchi,\u201d hidden within the Arikok National Park<\/a>. Taking a dip in the Natural Pool is one of the top things to do while visiting the island. The only ways to access the Natural Pool area are by horseback, ATV, UTV tours, or on foot, which is why this has become a popular destination for tourists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Quadirikiri Cave<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Inside the Arikok National Park is a beautiful cave hike through the “tunnel of love” where skylights light up the cave. The light reflecting off the walls will allow you to witness the Indian cave paintings.  Beware, Quadirikiri Cave has a residence for bats, so if you’re not a fan of bats, you may want to omit this on your journey. Many guided tours access this cave, whether horseback, UTV, ATV, or on foot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            1. Cliff Jumping<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              Take your journey to the next level and jump into the unknown. Cliff jumping<\/a> at Tres Trapi is safer than most cliff jumping places you may be familiar with, you will only reach a 10 ft plunge, but the excitement is still worth it if you\u2019re ready for a good soak! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

              1. Snorkel over S.S. Antilla Shipwreck<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                Go under the sea and capture the views of the S.S Antilla Shipwreck. Choosing the tour is half the battle! You can either choose an adventure on the Jolly Pirate<\/a> tour by jumping onboard a real-life pirate ship, where you can cannonball off the boat and swing off the ropes before enjoying your snorkeling excursion. Or indulge in luxury on the Red Sail Sports<\/a> excursion before diving below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    Aruba offers a few options when it comes to horseback riding. Whether you decide to ride on the beach or take a horseback riding tour in Arikok National Park to visit the beautiful Natural Pools, it definitely will be a fun adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    1. Eagle Beach <\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                      Rated as one of the best beaches in the world by USA Today. Visit the vast white sand beaches, where you can stumble upon the Divi-Divi Tree. These trees are only known to grow on Aruba and can be found right on Eagle Beach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        Baby Beach is great for little ones, especially since the water is calm and shallow. The beach is known for its shallow turquoise lagoon and is excellent for snorkeling and relaxing on a hot sunny day.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                Spend your afternoon cruising on the Caribbean sea.                                     1. Hike among the Cacti <\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                                      Take a walk on the wild side and explore the Arikok National Park on foot. The landscape is unique due to Aruba\u2019s climate, where you will experience walking through prickly trees and cacti. This landscape is entirely different from the crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches. Exploring this area should definitely be on your list! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                      1. Trinity Tripod Bridge<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                                        Located about 20 minutes from the Wariruri Bridge is another perfect photo opportunity on Trinity Tripod natural bridge. If you want to avoid crowds, it’s best to go around sunrise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                        1. Visit San Nicolas <\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                                          San Nicolas<\/a> is the second-largest city on the island.  The town attracts many tourists by the stunning art murals located in and around the city. Be sure to stop at Baby Beach while you\u2019re in the area. Buses run several times a day for accessible transit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
